We are rebel fragrance. Fragrance for the sake of it; Fragrance for the joy of it!
Creative expression is at the core of our business model and we believe that authenticity is the solid foundation for all the best artistic works. When we chose the name of the company, we wanted to choose something that embodies the ideal of authentic creative expression. What better way than to name it what all art is: an Artifact. Our products are all artistic expression, and we hope that you enjoy them as such.
Fragrance with Integrity
We do not use materials that are synthetic in origin. We believe in the magic and complexity of natural ingredients and will always strive to provide the highest quality natural fragrance.
Many fragrance materials have troubled histories with over-harvesting or creating seriously negative socio-economic consequences for the regions that produce these materials. It is our goal to never participate in the systems that cause these issues.
We are intentionally conscientious of any material that might be considered sacred to the inhabitants of the region it is sourced from, and will only use ingredients that are sourced respectfully and ethically.
Our Founder
Audra has been in the skincare industry since 2018. She got a trial-by-fire education in natural product formulation and perfumery when she began working for a natural products company as it’s sole product formulator and had no training or experience! The company grew quickly, as did her skill set in product formulation. She is now a certified organic skincare formulator, natural scent expert and proper nerd. It’s been said that she has “the best nose in the business” when it comes to scenting products. Her favorite part of formulation was always the scent development process and the pride of knowing that millions of people chose to wear products that she had developed as a part of their scent-scape was a wonderful reward. During a hiatus from the corporate world, she found herself making scents for fun and friends…and then people started asking where they could find her products. Thus, Artifact Aromatics was born!

Is to inspire creativity and expression in the world. Expression has the power to transform lives and we sincerely hope that you feel a spark of wonder and passion when you interact with our products. Maybe you’ll be inspired to make perfume yourself! We certainly hope so. You’ll never find a copy-cat fragrance in our lineup for this exact reason. The whole point of this product line is to create something new, something weird, something beautiful, something unique.
There are so many companies out there that can make the next mass market fragrance; that can make the fragrance that appeals to the most possible number of people. We don’t care about that. We want to make fragrance that appeals to individuals and free thinkers <3
